    Welcome to Cobblemon!

Cobblemon is a Minecraft mod that brings the Pokémon experience into your Minecraft world. Unlike previous Pokémon mods, Cobblemon puts Pokémon directly into the overworld. They spawn naturally in biomes, and you interact with them where you find them.

    Getting Started

    Choosing Your Starter

When you first join a Cobblemon server, you'll be able to choose a starter Pokémon. The classic trio is available:

  1. 🌿 Bulbasaur: Great for beginners, Grass/Poison type
  2. 🔥 Charmander: Fan favorite, Fire type
  3. 💧 Squirtle: Solid defense, Water type

  4. Your First Catch

  5. Find a wild Pokémon: They spawn naturally in the overworld based on biome
  6. Throw a Poké Ball: Right-click while holding one
  7. Weaken it first: Battle it to lower its HP for better catch rates
  8. Use the right ball: Great Balls and Ultra Balls have higher catch rates

  9. Understanding Types

Cobblemon features the full 18-type system from the Pokémon games. Key matchups to remember:

  10. Water beats Fire
  11. Fire beats Grass
  12. Grass beats Water

    Evolution

    Pokémon evolve through various methods:

  23. Trade: Some Pokémon evolve when traded
  24. Items: Use evolution stones (Fire Stone, Water Stone, etc.)
  25. Friendship: High friendship triggers evolution for some species
